Agee makes it two in a row at SOBO
June 15, 2009
Ridgeway, VA - It didn't take long for Corey to find his way
around South Boston Speedway and now he has two wins in a row to back it up. Corey and his team made only minor adjustments
before qualifying hoping to tighten up the car after Corey complained of a loose race car during final practice
on Saturday. The adjustments paid off when Corey put the #83 machine on the outside pole for his division in the Southern
Vintage Modifieds. When the green flag flew Agee had to quickly fall in behind the leader before the third place car passed
him on the inside. The top three cars then ran nose to tail for the next ten or twelve laps trying to find a way around
one another making for an exciting race. Finally with ten laps to go Agee made a risky move going into turns one and two passing
the leader on the outside and then never looked back on the field eventually taking the checkers. With the win Agee also
took over the points lead. Corey and the team look to make it three wins in a row at SOBO on July 18.
